Biography
Jay Burgess is an operational systems leader who uses forward deployed engineering, data science, analytics, and systems thinking to help businesses operate more effectively. He’s Managing Director of Revuity Systems, an operational systems company based in Los Angeles.
I’m a different kind of operations leader. I think in systems and strategy, and I apply data science, analytics, and engineering to build what the work requires. For more than 15 years I have worked through regulated financial aid operations, revenue and marketing systems, and data governance at enterprise scale, and I now lead Revuity Systems, an operational systems company.
Across more than 15 years of enterprise work, he’s taken on systems and operational work affecting organizations such as Walmart and Adobe. He comes at technology from the operation outward, treating software, data, automation and AI as components of a larger system, never the objective themselves.
